What do we do?

Research

Every year, over 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. We are dedicated to funding medical research in the pursuit of developing life-saving treatments and a cure.

Education

Education is critically important to the development of young people and is a cherished convention of our founders and namesakes. With your help, we can provide scholarships for youth camps and higher education for survivors of and those living with pediatric cancer.

Enrichment

Recreation and stimulation are vital for patients going through treatment. We intend to provide these by funding board games, puzzles, and therapy animal sessions for those affected by pediatric cancer.

President’s Statement

Our organization is all too familiar with the impact cancer can have on a family. Melissa Mangold (right) is a four-time cancer survivor: breast (May 2008), thyroid (October 2010), colon-rectal cancer (June 2017), and lung (July 2018). Mike Lenett (left) was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in October of 2019 and, unfortunately, passed away on September 5, 2020.

We know, firsthand, the emotional and financial toll that cancer can put on families. So, we want to help.

The Melissa Mangold & Mike Lenett Foundation is steadfast in its commitment to helping those affected by pediatric cancer.

No person, let alone society’s most vulnerable and their families, ought to be in this alone.

I hope you consider joining us in our mission.

Warmest Regards,
Samuel Mangold-Lenett
